Jeff Horchoff, an experienced Louisiana beekeeper, has spent over a year testing a bottom board designed to reduce Small Hive Beetles. After a long, hot season, it has proven highly effective: beetles must balance over a tray of diatomaceous earth on hardware cloth while being pursued by bees.
