Bug Farmer™ Hiveworks APEX 10 Frame Medium Super.  APEX is a meticulously crafted box featuring the popular half-blind dovetail joint insuring a tight square fit every time while reducing exposed end-grain.  The APEX is designed for durability, precision, and the well-being of your bees and is perfect for those looking to expand their hive or ensure a robust structure for their bee colony.

Unlike other boxes on the market we don't offer one price for crusty knotty "Mill Run" and an inflated price for "Select" grade containing few or no knots.  All Hiveworks boxes are made from high quality lumber with very few knots if any.  Any knots in the wood are tight and have been treated with cyanoacrylate glue, filled and sanded.  Every box we sell, Standard Hiveworks, or the Hiveworks APEX, can be stained and finished.  We treat every box as if it were a piece of furniture. The pictures are representative of average APEX box.

Available in many variations including Unassembled, assembled, wax boiled, with or without frames. 

Note**
Boxes require rubber mallet or hammer to assemble, joints are tight.  No bar clamps or corner clamps required to make square. 

Boxes are waxed to order. All wax boiling is done on Saturday and finished boxes shipped the following Monday.  i.e. A waxed box ordered on Monday will be waxed on Saturday and shipped the following Monday.
