The Bug Farmer™ 5 Frame NUC Hive is made to the same exacting standards as the APEX line from Bug Farmer™ Hiveworks: select-grade lumber with very few knots, precision-machined half-blind dovetail joints for a tight, durable fit.  This box is designed for APEX NUC boxes and any other five frame NUC measuring 9 5/8 wide.

With the APEX V2, we’ve taken an already great design and made it even better. We’ve upgraded to larger, stronger precision-cut half-blind dovetail joints while improving the long-grain to end-grain ratio — now delivering 32% less end-grain exposure than traditional hives (an additional 7% reduction over the original APEX).The result is a noticeably stronger, more stable hive box that maintains the classic look and performance beekeepers love.APEX V2 delivers the highest quality and best utility on the market — all without raising the price. Note**. Boxes are waxed to order. All wax boiling is done on Saturday and finished boxes shipped the following Monday.  i.e. A waxed box ordered on Monday will be waxed on Saturday and shipped the following Monday.
